Ever since the ’90s when her roommate, a film fanatic working at a video store, shared the wonderful world of Criterion Laser Discs and their director’s commentary tracks Heidi has been fascinated with the behind-the-scenes magic of movie making. She’s watched the DVD extras of The Lord of the Rings trilogy more than she’s seen the movies themselves!
Heidi has been obsessed with movie related podcasts since she first heard Doug Loves Movies in 2006.
As a fan of such podcasts as How Did This Get Made, The X Files Files, James Bonding and Star Wars Minute it was only a matter of time before she would get behind a microphone, secure a domain name and get to podcasting herself.
With her trusty co-host Sean German, Heidi’s first podcast was Spinal Tap Minute – celebrating This is Spinal Tap one minute at a time.
When that project wrapped, Heidi and long time friend Molly Bailen decided to join forces and launch the first female co-hosted Movies by Minutes podcast: Cabin Minute Cast!
Heidi is also a Professional Certified Coach supporting the success of multi-creatives!

Heidi lives in Oakland, California with her husband Brian (tech-support) and rescue dog Poki (snuggle-support)
With an abiding love of media and the larger Whedonverse, Cabin Minute Cast was a natural choice for Molly’s first venture into podcasting.
Combining image with word is her creative domain, Molly’s background is in film production, screenwriting, and comics/illustration. For her art, comics, and musings, check out LittleredMark.com.
A meditator of over 15 years, studying the dharma is her other great passion (she still hasn’t given up dropping f-bombs, however). Molly currently resides in Portland, Oregon with her hubby and her cat “The Holy Meow”.
